Yesterday the Japanese Emperor made a short appearance in the Imperial Palace, being greeted by thousands of (not only) Japanese people.
I was honestly surprised by how many people were there, and by how enthusiastic they were. Everyone was yelling words of prayer, waving their hands, their flags (that were distributed in the entrance of the Palace), and everyone was smiling. It was kinda refreshing!
